What is a Relationship Style?

Relationship Style describes the relational dynamic that tends to feel most natural to you, including how you pursue closeness and what you quietly expect from a partner.

No. Attachment style describes patterns of security and insecurity in attachment. Relationship Style is a TypeMatch layer inspired by Socionics and focuses on preferred relationship dynamics.

Each Relationship Style contains four personality types. The style is shared, but each type expresses it differently.

Which Relationship Styles are complementary?

The underlying model pairs Pursuer with Enchanter and Caregiver with Idealist as complementary dynamics. This is a lens for understanding patterns, not a rule for who can have a good relationship.
